Triple Solar introduces the Thermal Battery

Triple Solar introduces its latest innovative product, the Thermal Battery. The energy-efficient Thermal Battery is combined with the Triple Solar PVT heat pump. Compared to a traditional hot water vessel, the Thermal Battery is up to four times smaller and therefore fits in every home.

Unlike electric batteries, a thermal battery does not store electricity, but heat. This stored heat can be used at a later time to make instant hot water. This eliminates the usual storage of hot water in the water tank that causes a lot of heat loss. In short, the Thermal Battery is fast, economical and space efficient.

CEO and founder Cees Mager says, “Homes are getting increasingly smaller. As a result, there is often no room for a large kettle. The Thermal Battery is so compact that it even fits in a kitchen cabinet.”

 

 

What distinguishes our battery from other thermal batteries is the lack of a heating element. After all, the PVT heat pump already contains one. This makes our battery not only more compact, but also less expensive.

The Thermal Battery is available in three sizes, depending on a household’s hot water requirements: 150 (XXS), 200 (XS) and 300 (S).
