The PVT system

An all-in-one energy solution for your home

The Triple Solar PVT system combines PVT panels and a PVT heat pump into one seamless solution for heating, hot water and cooling. It also generates its own electricity.

Because the system operates without an outdoor unit, it is virtually silent and has no visible or audible impact on your surroundings.

Why the Triple Solar PVT system?

Electricity, heat and cooling in one

One system takes care of your electricity, heating, hot water and cooling.

No outdoor unit

The installation remains quiet and unobtrusive, preserving the look and feel of your home.

Fully electric and future-ready

Het systeem maakt het mogelijk om (deels of volledig) van het aardgas af te gaan en bereidt de woning voor op toekomstige energieontwikkelingen en regelgeving.

De alles-in-een energieoplossing voor jouw woning

What is the PVT system?

An integrated system combining PVT panels, a PVT heat pump, and optional hot water storage or a heat battery.

Simultaneously generate solar power (PV) while harvesting thermal energy (T) from the air.

Converts harvested energy into high-efficiency warmth or cooling.

Add a hot water cylinder or thermal battery for maximum efficiency and demand management.

Geen buitenunit: stil, onzichtbaar en flexibel toepasbaar

All technical components are housed inside the home, while the PVT panels on the roof provide the required energy. This means the system operates almost silently and keeps the exterior of your home free from visible installations.

This makes the PVT system particularly well suited to densely built residential areas, terraced housing and situations where aesthetics matter. There are also no constraints related to property boundaries or noise regulations, making it suitable in more situations than traditional heat pumps.

Key benefits

Modular design

The PVT system is modular, making components easy to repair or replace.

Low-maintenance

With very few moving parts, no annual servicing is required.

Silence

Because the system runs without an outdoor unit, it operates almost silently with no noise disturbance.

Works all year round

The PVT system delivers energy in all seasons — even in cloudy, rainy or frosty conditions.

Increases property value

Installing a PVT system can increase your property value by up to 5%.

Long lifespan and warranty

The system is designed to last over 25 years, with a 10-year warranty on the panels and 7 years on the heat pump.

How the PVT system works

The PVT panels generate both electricity and heat at the same time. The solar cells on the front convert sunlight into electricity.

At the rear, the panel captures heat from the outside air and from the panel itself. This heat acts as the system’s energy source.

The PVT heat pump converts this energy into usable heat.

The heat is used for space heating and hot water.

Works in both hybrid and all-electric setups

The PVT system can be used in both hybrid and fully all-electric (gas-free) setups. The most suitable configuration depends on the property and the existing installation.

In new-build homes, an all-electric solution is standard. In many existing homes, all-electric is also a viable option. In fact, the majority of PVT systems installed in existing properties are fully gas-free.

In addition to residential use, the PVT system is also suitable for commercial buildings, housing associations, and applications such as district heating and thermal energy storage regeneration.

Over 200.000 m2 of PVT installed

With more than 200,000 m² of PVT installed, the Triple Solar PVT system is used in both new-build and existing homes.

The system operates quietly every day in apartments, terraced houses, semi-detached homes, detached houses and houseboats.
